Our Approach

Accuracy and consistency over volume.

SamskritiArts is editorial first. Here is how a story and its art move from idea to your screen — and the lines we won't cross.

  • 100%

of published pieces approved by a person

  • 3

human review gates before anything goes live

  • 0

    artworks sold as historical paintings

Every piece passes through

Nine stages. Three of them are people saying yes.

  1. 01

    Idea

A theme, festival or question worth exploring.

  2. 02

    Verified brief

Sources chosen and recorded by an editor.

  3. 03

    Draft

Story written from the brief, fact apart from interpretation.

  4. 04Human gate

    Fact QA

Claims checked against the source ledger.

  5. 05

    Art candidates

AI-assisted variants made from a written art brief.

  6. 06Human gate

    Iconography QA

    Attributes, colours and symbols checked.

  7. 07Human gate

    Editor approved

A named editor signs off the whole piece.

  8. 08

    Scheduled

Dated to the right day in the calendar.

  9. 09

    Published

Live, with its provenance record attached.

A failed step routes to hold — never around it.

01परीक्षा

Human review, always

Technology helps us plan, draft and visualise. People stay accountable. Scriptural claims, quotations and translations, deity attributes, festival dates and sensitive narratives always require human approval — as does every artwork before it becomes a print.

If a piece fails review, it waits. We would rather publish less often than publish something wrong.

02मूल

Sources before stories

Stories are drafted from a curated source library with edition and translator references. A source record is created by an editor — never invented by a model. Fact and interpretation are written separately, so you can see which is which.

Festival and observance dates come from a validated, location-aware calendar. When sources disagree, the conflict goes to a reviewer instead of becoming a headline.

03परम्परा

Many traditions, labelled honestly

Indian sacred traditions are plural. Lists, orders, day-wise mappings and meanings differ between regions, texts and lineages. We say which tradition a piece follows and label regional or interpretive readings as such. We don't claim to speak for all of them.

04सत्य

AI disclosure

Artwork on SamskritiArts is AI-assisted and art-directed. It is always disclosed, and never presented as an authenticated historical painting. For every published piece we retain the model and version, prompt brief, source ledger, editor, QA decision and date.

We don't auto-list generated images for sale, and we don't promise exclusivity without an enforceable edition policy.

05शुद्धि

Corrections

Our target is zero critical inaccuracies, and when we get something wrong we correct it visibly. Corrections are noted on the piece and recorded in a public errata log. Spotted an error, or have a question? Write to namaste@samskritiarts.com.
